2 sketches 4 you entry

This is my entry for Laura's sketch at 2 sketches 4 you. I used the ticket bood from Melissa Frances, lace, ribbon and flower from Walmartyou.
Ok needless to say that I didn't win the challenge, sooooo I went back and looked at my "creation" I realized that maybe it needed something else, so I added buttons. Is really more better??? I'll let you decide...

My friends have made the story of my life

I made this card for a friend of mine a few years ago...that's right a few years ago..I still like it a lot.

Baby Girl

This is a quick card I made for my DH cousin who just had his first baby girl..

Kindergarten Wordbook

Do you ever ask yourself what to do with all those wonderful projects your children bring home from school? Well it seems like my son who is in Kindergarten brings at least 15 pieces of either art, penmanship or other projects home. As a mother I would love to save ALL of his work, but I came to realize that I just simply don't have the storage..so scrapbooking to the rescue!!! I scanned and printed most of his work and put it on a wordbook using a grade school paper stack and my wonderful Cricut Expression. I also used recycled chipboard that I found at work...LOL. I said it once...nothing is safe from crafters! I also used stickles, ribbon and binder rings. Enjoy and as usual please leave a message they mean soooo much to me. Thanks and have a wonderful week..

The most important thing is...to enjoy life

After making this card I realized that children grow sooo fast and life goes by in a flash. Who cares if the house is not clean, who cares if the clothes are not washed, who cares if I see one gray hair on my head...really who cares? with this said I love the saying on this card..it made me realize that I really need to slow down and do more things with my children. Even washing dishes for them is a treat so tonight that's exactly what we did..I didn't run the dishwasher I had them help and they loved it! So please take the time to enjoy life...I made this card using Making Memories Spiral Book and Happily Ever After cartridge from Cricut..

I tried paper piercing since it's one of the latest fashions in card making...

2 Sketches 4 you entry..

This morning even with my kids running around and monkeying around I somehow manage to create this card for the weekly sketch at Caardvarks. I used making memories Chloe's Closet for the cute bird and paper from sassafraslass.

Hello Kitty on my mind...

I made this a while ago for my dauther's room. I used the Hello Kitty Greeting cartridge from Provocraft. Enjoy.

Please leave a comment, they mean sooo much to me.

Here is a Hello Kitty album I made a while ago. I had posted on the Cricut Message Board and for some reason I went to check the comments, needless to say I had over 40 replies on it so I will post it here too..I hope you like it and leave a nice comment.

Here's the inside of the HK album

bee MINE

Here is a layout that I made today using my wonderful Cricut. This was my son's first Valentine's Day Party...He was sooo excited and so was my daughter!

I used recycled chipboard to make the word MINE and painted it with acrylic paint then I added crystal clear to give it some shine. I tried to make this LO as masculine as I could but that was really hard!

Sweet Thang

Hi, I have not been keeping up with my blog after I got started, so I will try and keep up with it. Having a full-time job and two wonderful kids it's a lot of work. I usually have to wait until my children are sleep sooooo by that time I'm super tired...

Here is a card I made for my dear husband. It is made with the Christmas Stack and recycled chipboard I cut with my expression using George. I added buttons and lace for texture.

The second one I used paper I bought at a cherry on the top, chipboard from the big board, flower and buttons also from a cherry on the top. Enjoy!

This third card I made forCaardvarks challenge. I used BC for the Stamp and HKG for the cupcake. I bought the most wonderful embelishments at a cherry on the top so I wanted to use as much stuff possible. I might have gone overboard!
